Final 6.

I have chosen these five pictures because each of them has been edited in different ways. Each one is different to the other, some have been edited just by using simple burn & dodge and others have textures and effects added. to create more detail and therefore they are more interesting to the eye.

Leave.

This picture was taken near were I live using a Sony NEX-7  interchangeable lens digital camera. This picture has been taken outside so it has used the natural light from the sun.  I have only blurred the  background, so the leave stands out more.

Handprints.

This picture was taken on the college grounds. I turned the picture black and white and brought some colour back in by using hand print templets.  I think this picture is basic, but the handprints make it more interesting, because it creates detail in a none detailed picture.

Hayley.

This picture was taken on the college grounds. I edited this picture by changing the levels and also using the burn and dodge tool to darken and lighten effects. Also I put a texture effect on top.

Victoria.

This picture was taken in the college studios. I have placed a browny colour on the top by using a vivd lighting. I wanted to make this picture look old, this is because Victoria is a old fashion name and I wanted people to get that message just by looking at the photo.

Mad Hatter 2.

This picture was taken in the studio in college, this picture has hardly been edited on but I think it looks really good as it is, and therefore kept the picture close to the oringial as possible. I have used the burn and dodge tool to make the white stand out against the black background, and also to make the black stand out in her hat and clothing.

Abi Tiger.

Abi-Tiger. This picture was taken in the college studio, and it had a light under her face, to create a scary kind of look.  First I use the burn & dodge to darken & lighten the main features on her face. After that I found a picture of a white tiger and merged it into her face, I did this to create a more detail effect within her face and also to create a more scary, creepy look. I made her eyes look darker, so they would stand out against the background. Finally I added a black and white texture to the top to add more detail to the picture, so it could be more interesting. I like this photo because she looks feisty, scary and creepy. The detail of the tiger on her face, looks a bit like henna or even a tattoo.

Mad Hatter.

Not looking so mad. This picture was taken outside, using the natural light from the sun.  This picture has hardy been edited because I like the natural beauty of it. I have only used the burn and dodge tool on her eyes and on the trees, to create darker and lighter looking shadows.

Gas mask.

Does this picture make sense?

Dodgy eyes.

Hm. I just wanted to play around with the eyes.

Hmm.

I'm just not sure.

Victoria.

Victoria. I don't really like this picture, because the texture takes away the beauty of the original, and also I didn't merge   her back into the picture as quite well as I would of done.

Abi.

Abi. The picture has been edited by, changing the levels and also by adding a black & white texture on the top.  When I added the texture I blended out some of it from her eyes, mouth and main features so they would stand out more. After that I used burn & dodge tool to add detail within her face.

Shoes!

These are my sister shoes, the picture was taken at college. All I have done  is change the levels, so the shoes stand out against the black background. This picture reminds me of the ruby slippers in the wizard of Oz.

Baby Livia.

Baby Livia, she's a daughter of my mum's friend.  Taken on a day when they was planting trees for the children s centre.  I thought the picture was very cute, so I edited the lighting and took away her mum from behind her head, because she took away the focus of the child.

Paris.

Paris, a natural beauty. This picture has been edited  in the background by cloning it out and replacing it by a stone like texture (like paving) and a texture has been placed on the top, a kind of glitter effect to show case this person and that  she belongs in the light. I was going to edited the tree out but I kind of like it, because it frames the picture. The flowers at the bottom just look effortlessly beautiful with Paris stood next to them, it reminds me off a stunning princess out of a disney movie.

Creeps

like this photo because it gives me a creepy feeling, it's sorta like something out of a scary movie or even some-one ready to creep the kids out on halloween. What creeps us out, a scary movie, a scary TV program, heights, clowns, spiders e.c.t. Or even having or causing a sensation of repulsion, horror or fear of things/creatures crawling on the skin. Creepy things make are hair stand up on the back of our necks, a cold shiver down the back or even shiver thought out the whole body.

Laughter.

I like this picture because he hasn't been ask to be in this position but it was of the many moments captured unexpectedly after someone let off a cheesy joke. I also like this because he mostly does poses in his photos  but yet here he isn't. Laughter is infectious, the sound of roaring laughter is far more contagious then any cough, sniffle or sneeze. When laughter is shared between groups or even two it binds them together and increases happiness it's better then medicine, and there-fore the best cure.
